Maé Mi (b. 2018) began her musical journey in Paris through the Suzuki method and continues her studies in Helsinki. She studies violin with Kirsi Patrikainen and piano with Säde Erkkilä at Käpylän musiikkiopisto.
Maé has appeared as a soloist in several concerts. In April 2026, she was invited to perform the first movement of Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole with Lauttasaaren orkesteri in Helsinki, conducted by Ahti Valtonen. In 2025, she appeared as a soloist with Wegelius Kammarstråkar (WKS) at Uusi Paviljonki, conducted by Ruut Kiiski. In 2023, she performed at the Concert des Amis at the Philharmonie de Paris.
Whether performing at the Philharmonie de Paris, on a remote Norwegian island, or on a bustling street during the Edinburgh Festival, Maé loves sharing the highs, lows, and silences of music with everyone.
